My Love For Her - fine art print

I want to tell you of my love for Her. Of Her strong, dark leaf smelling earth. The tangled branches of Her tree hair, Her softness and her roundness and how I feel Her breathing in and out the tides. I curl my fingers around Hers. She is moss and seaweed, bees and the darkness of night. We lie side by side and I cry remembering tears as Her moon sets and I dream in the liminal edge of Her light returning.

My deepest longing is that women have enough trust to return to a non-linear tidal time - which is a place of rewriting our own matrilineal storyline, running along our wildish trackways towards a the centring of the Earth Mother as sacred practise. Here we begin the work of unpicking the tangle of the mother wound, where women compete and appropriate. Here we rise from the labyrinthine centre with sovereignty, to hold each other fearlessly and begin to weave a new way of being together.

Can one painting hold all that? Yes, again and again.
