Dark Mother of Wild is a painted prayer — an offering to the ancient, wild, holy feminine that lives beneath the surface of things.

She is womb and cavern.
Hive and serpent.
The place we return to when we are done pretending.I painted this piece to honour the Dark Mother not as something fearful, but as a source of nourishment, remembrance, and deep belonging. The one who feeds us courage when we’re tired, calls us back from shrinking, and reminds us that our power has roots — long, unbroken, and alive. 

I wanted to rewrite the Lords Prayer, that we all toned without thinking at school. I wanted it to be a prayer that would run through every cell in my body - calling to the lineage of women who never truly forgot. The original was made for Goddess Temple gifts in Glastonbury, so do please support them if you live near there.
